ABOUT SADIK
As an award winning pharmacist and former local councillor and Deputy Mayor, I have an extensive track record and commitment to serving the community.
Having worked within healthcare for 20 years, I witnessed first hand the gradual decline of NHS services, which motivated me to stand as a local MP, with the aim of working with the government to improve living standards for all.
I am passionate about healthcare provision, investing in the future of young people (education, employment and housing), and addressing inequality.
Elected as the MP for North Somerset in July 2025 , I am dedicated to representing all constituents and making North Somerset an even better place to live for everyone.
I aim to be as accessible as possible, offering regular surgeries and carrying out visits to community groups and businesses within the constituency, to ascertain the issues of most importance to residents and businesses. I live in Pill with my wife and two children, and enjoy sampling the offerings of the excellent range of cafes across the constituency, particularly those offering a jacket potato!
