BRISTOL TO PORTISHEAD RAILWAY
Since my election, reopening the Bristol–Portishead railway has been a top priority. I'm thrilled that construction is set to begin this summer, promising enhanced connectivity and economic growth for our community.
HOLDING FIRSTPORT TO ACCOUNT FOR LEASEHOLDERS
Labour MPs came together to successfully challenge FirstPort, a major Managing Agent in the constituency, securing essential commitments that will deliver better, more transparent services for leasehold property constituents.
BOOSTING THE ECONOMIC HEALTH OF OUR LOCAL AREA
It is a priority to promote local businesses and revitalise the high streets of North Somerset. We have a detailed strategy for growth – rooted in local firms and enterprises.
National Issues
TOBACCO AND VAPES BILL
This Bill will create a smoke-free generation and restrict vaping to over-18s. As a practising Pharmacist, I have seen firsthand the impact of smoking-related illnesses, on those affected and on the NHS.
REFORMING AND REVITALISING THE NHS
I am committed to championing our NHS and public services, drawing on my extensive experience leading Pharmacy services to identify necessary reforms and implement effective change.
PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES OF HEALTH AND TECHNOLOGY
As a Pharmacist and Officer on Life Sciences and Assistive Technology APPGs, I believe it is essential to ensure Britain remains an attractive destination for Life Science investment and the roll-out of new technologies and therapies.

I believe in being present through regular constituency surgeries and informal "Coffee with Sadik" meetings where we can discuss matters important to you. I can also hold virtual surgeries, and am happy to attend events or meet businesses where and when I can!
